Welcome to the ABCD Caucus Best Practices Wiki!
At our caucus meeting this past June, members discussed how to best share ideas and recources--this wiki is the first step to a solution (the second step is getting all of our members to use it!).
The following pages will get our collaboration off to a good start:
Methods of Cataloging
Virtual Tours of Our Libraries
Resources
Caucus Logo Ideas

Mark you calendars: Tuesday, June 16th from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm. ABCD Caucus Tour & Board Meeting
Anyone have a contact at AIA headquarters or would anyone be willing to tackle researching and putting together a “green” self guided building walking tour to promote the ABCD caucus? Let me know. Thanks! Karen

The date's in my book and I even paid for my conference pass. I'm trying to shake a couple of names of unusual DC landmarks out of our DC office... I'm hoping for some 60s Brazilian embassies/consulates. Something with some individuality!

I went to an exhibit of Helsinki architecture at the Finland Embassy--their building is gorgeous. Might be an option?

The National Building Museum is having a Green Communities Exhibit. The museum is housed in the historic Pension Building. Unfortunately, it is not a Green Building itself, but well worth a visit!

For those who were unable to attend the business meeting at the annual conference, I will be passing on the convener role to the Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) librarians. The 2010 conveners are Bonnie Willdorf, Bert Saul, and Joan Cunningham. Bonnie Willdorf has already started conference planning for the Annual Conference in New Orleans.
